What happens at 3 PM in Warsaw when your call is at 9 AM in New York
Pick a date and time, choose the source zone, pick the target zone - and the converter shows the exact result with UTC offsets and the hour gap between the two locations. It covers 31 time zones across Europe, North and South America, Asia, Australia, Africa and UTC. Daylight saving time shifts are handled by the browser's built-in Intl engine, so the result reflects the actual offset on that specific date.
How to use the Timezone Converter - step by step
- Date and time - enter the date and time you want to convert (e.g. 2026-06-26 15:00 for 3 PM on June 26).
- Source time zone - select the zone the entered time belongs to (e.g. Warsaw for Central European Time).
- Target time zone - select the zone you want to convert to (e.g. New York for Eastern Time).
- Read the results - the converter displays both times side by side with weekday, date, UTC offset and the hour difference.
Common time zone differences
These offsets apply during summer (DST active in both locations where applicable):

Practical examples
About daylight saving time (DST)
Not all time zones observe DST. Tokyo, Dubai, Singapore and most of Africa stay on the same offset year-round. Europe switches clocks on the last Sunday of March and October. The US switches on the second Sunday of March and the first Sunday of November. During the two-to-three-week gap when one region has switched and the other has not, the hour difference is temporarily 1 hour more or less than usual.
| Region | DST starts | DST ends | Observes DST? |
|---|---|---|---|
| US / Canada | 2nd Sun March | 1st Sun November | Yes |
| Europe | Last Sun March | Last Sun October | Yes |
| Australia (Sydney) | 1st Sun October | 1st Sun April | Yes |
| Japan / Korea | - | - | No |
| Dubai / Singapore | - | - | No |
